Forbes: Russia’s 200 richest people wealth down $40 bln to $456 bln
MOSCOW, Apr 16 (PRIME) -- The combined wealth of Russia’s 200 richest businessmen fell by U.S. $40 billion during a year to $456 billion on the back of market turbulence amid lower oil prices and the spread of coronavirus, the U.S. magazine Forbes said in its 17th annual rating of Russia’s richest people.
Forbes reiterated that co-owner and President of metals giant Norilsk Nickel Vladimir Potanin occupied the first place in the rating with the wealth of $19.7 billion.
Businessman Vladimir Lisin ranked number two with $18.1 billion and co-owner and CEO of independent gas producer Novatek Leonid Mikhelson, the previous leader of the rating, occupied the third position with $17.1 billion.
